There goes another year! One that has absolutely flown by, and one that has never stopped giving. With our continued mission to promote multicultural marketing and communications and the addition of new projects that have kept us busy, it is gratifying to look back on the year and review everything we have accomplished in 2022.
Cornerstone Alliance had the proud privilege of partnering with the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Council of Australia (FECCA) to deliver FECCA 2022, the premier national conference on multiculturalism, diversity & inclusion and migration. We continue to grow our close working relationship with FECCA and maintain our role as marketing partner, developing crucial multicultural marketing campaigns for a national scope, designing ongoing collateral and publications, and producing content in various formats for diverse audiences. We also joined the FECCA team on a national tour, working with multicultural communities in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide about various FECCA-funded programs relating to ageing and multiculturalism. Listening to multicultural voices is at the core of what we stand for, and we are thrilled to have supported FECCA for another year in advocating for and promoting a culturally and linguistically diverse Australia.
Earlier in the year, Cornerstone Alliance was also engaged by Ethnolink to develop creative assets for a multilingual flood safety campaign for the NSW State Emergency Services (SES). Utilising various channels across digital, social media, print and radio, crucial safety information about flooding in Sydney’s northwest was communicated directly to the community. Making a positive difference in people’s lives is one of the great rewards of our work, and we are so glad to have worked on this important campaign with the team at Ethnolink.
We also had the pleasure of working with the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) on their national campaign to encourage submissions to the Disability Royal Commission. Our objective was to break down the potential ambiguity and unease associated with speaking to a commission, and we did this by reframing the narrative to focus on sharing one’s individual story. This multi-lingual and multi-platform campaign was designed to leverage the valuable perspectives and experiences of multicultural people with disabilities and reiterate the role that they can play in determining future policy.
In the human services sector, we’ve continued to support HomePlace as their marketing and communications partner, by developing accessible content, designing collateral and publications, supporting events and managing channels. Our staff with lived experience in disability lead this side of the business and bring an authenticity to the relationships and services we provide.
Diversity and inclusion, and accessibility at the forefront of the work we do, Cornerstone Alliance is committed to improving the business and strategic outcomes for its clients and their work. We look forward to 2023 and all that it holds!
